An Aussie Mountain Doodle puppy is a cross between an Aussiedoodle and Bernedoodle. Currently all of our puppies will be 25% Australian Shepard, 25% Bernese Mountain dog, and 50% Poodle. These dogs are loved mostly for their intelligence, but also for their energetic and playful natures! Aussie mountain doodles love having a job whether that be to love your family, become a sport dog, or a service dog. These dogs can do it all.
Our Aussiedoodle puppies have similar temperaments as their parents: cheerful, friendly and smart. These dogs are very reliable and are becoming popular therapy dogs. Aussiedoodles are commonly referred to as the Einstein’s of dogs.
Our Aussie Mountain Doodles come in one size: mini. They range from 35-45 lbs.
What is an Aussie Mountain Doodle?

Our Aussie Mountain Doodle puppy coloring is pretty straight forward. All puppies regardless of standards or minis will be either black tri colored, blue merle tri colored, or red and white.

Our Aussie Mountain Doodle puppies have various coat genetics, however, the one thing they all have in common is at least one copy of furnishings. This means all of our puppies inherit the poodle hair instead of Aussie or Bernese fur, are hypoallergenic, and are little to non-shedding. I like to compare their shedding to human hair: they will lose little bits of hair naturally, but they will never grow, and therefore blow, a seasonal coat like heavy shedding dogs.
All of our Aussie Mountain Doodle puppies end up with at least one copy of furnishings, but several of them will have two, or be called "double fournished"! if you are interested in a double furnished puppy please reach out. With genetic testing we can point you towards the right puppy.
The other coat trait lots of people are interested in is curl. Our Aussie Mountain Doodle puppies can end up with any of the following depending on the litter: one copy curl and one copy straight, two copies curl, or two copies straight.
The curlier a puppy, the less you will notice hair loss. The straighter a puppy, the easier hair maintenance seems to be. Other than those two things to consider, most people choose how much curl they want in a puppy based off of what look they like! Either way you can't go wrong.

Aussiedoodle Mountain Doodle Generations
Doodle Generations can be pretty confusing! Even here at Yellowstone Doodles we send out many different generations every year: F1's, F1b's F1bb's, F2b's and more in the future.
So what's the difference? Which one fits your family best? Hopefully these charts and explanations help answer those questions.
Lets start with the F1 and F2 generations. The letter F indicates a generation, and the number indicates how may generations from the original full bred parents the puppy is. Here is an example with Aussiedoodles.
F1 - A puppy that is half poodle, half Australian Shepherd
F2 - A puppy whose parents are both F1 aussiedoodles
F3 - A puppy whose parents are both F2 aussiedoodles
B's are added to generational distinctions when a full bred poodle is one of a puppy's parents after the initial F1 generation.
F1b - A puppy whose first parent is an F1 doodle, and second parent is a poodle.
F1bb - A puppy whose first parent is an F1b doodle, and second parent is a poodle.
Multigenerational Doodle - A puppy whose first parent is an F1bb doodle, and second parent is a poodle, or a puppy whose parents are both some generation of Aussiedoodle. By the F1b generation, a dog can have the exact same coat genetics as a full bred poodle. Carefully planned breeding's between Aussiedoodles will produce the same non-shedding results in puppies that breeding to a full poodle does.

Sky
Sky is the perfect combination of athleticism and affection. As the daughter of our very own Bandit and Isabella, she inherited the best of both worlds. With her striking glacier-blue eyes and beautiful tri coat, she’s certainly easy on the eyes—but it’s her sweet personality that steals your heart.
Sky absolutely loves to play… but she loves her people even more. Every time we open the door to let the dogs outside, she takes off running for just a few feet before making a hard turn right back to your legs, hoping for one more scratch behind the ears before she heads off to play. It’s pretty adorable. You can tell she’d make an incredible adventure buddy, but she’ll choose spending time with you every chance she gets.
One of Sky’s greatest strengths is how eager she is to learn. If there’s one thing every good trainer knows, it’s that eye contact is the foundation of communication—and Sky has mastered it. Those bright blue eyes are almost always locked on your face, waiting to see what you’d like her to do next. She’s incredibly attentive, loves to please, and picks up new commands with remarkable ease.
Around the rest of the pack, Sky has earned the title of our peacemaker. She genuinely gets along with everyone. Whether she’s playing with the rowdy youngsters or relaxing beside one of the older dogs, she’s simply happy to be part of the group. Over the years, we’ve learned that some dogs naturally bring peace wherever they go… and that’s exactly who Sky is!
